St Chad's welcomes children and has adopted the Diocese of London's child protection guidelines.


Disability Friendly

St Chad's is partially wheel chair accessable and is fitting an Induction loop for those with hearing difficulties
(hearing aides need to be set on the T setting).



The Church has it own car park where limited parking is normally available.

Where is St Chad's?

St Chad's is situated just off Hackney Road, near to Columbia Road Flower Market. It is in an area of Hackney known as Haggerston. On the borders of Bethnal Green and Shoreditch, and very close to the City of London.

Public Transport - Buses

St Chad's is well served by buses. Routes 26, 48, 55 pass close by on Hackney Road, also Routes 149, 242, 242 pass close by on Kingsland Road. There are also several other bus routes that terminate at Shoreditch which is a short walk away for the Church.


Public Transport - Trains

Cambridge Heath (One Railway) and Liverpool Street underground (Central, District and Circle Lines) and mainline stations are all within 15 minutes walk. Old Street tube station (Northern Line) is also within easy walking distance.


Public Transport - Overground

St Chad's is on the LONDON OVERGROUND network which open in May 2010. For St Chad's us Hoxton Station which is just 100 yards from the church.
